This course is to give confidence to the ‘competent’ person within any organisation to carry out manual handling risk assessments. These may be in the kitchen, domestic or laundry areas or they may be in the more complex field of people handling. This course will enable staff to carry out these assessments and create handling plans for care staff to follow successfully. All service users require a detailed handling plan, which must be written by a ‘competent’ person.

These courses can be held ‘in house’ or we can provide a venue if you wish. We will provide all teaching aids, handouts and equipment required. We charge for a full day with a maximum of 15 people if the room allows for so many. In a smaller room we will teach the number that can be comfortable!
