| Designed to provide a safe and comfortable lift for all amputees. Also useful for patients who need to remain in a sling for extended periods. Used with side suspenders which are provided, the St Ebbas sling is available with or without commode aperture, in poly or net and may also be fleece lined.
APPLICATIONS
Suitable for categories
B - bed
E - floor
& to lift patients from a lying or seated position
May ONLY be fitted whilst a patient is in the lying position as they need to be rolled onto the sling.
NOTES
Suitable for any patients but the sling needs to remain in position whilst the patient is seated therefore assessment of any pressure requirements may be necessary. A shorter leg strap encourages flexion and may help inhibit extensor spasms.
